VESTA tours with Aljaž and Janette!

This festive season, VESTA has had the pleasure of supplying Aljaž and Janette’s new Christmas Tour, Dancing in A Winter Wonderland. Called upon for one of our turn-key solutions, encompassing Audio, Lighting and a Scenic Solution with our partner Doug Cairns Creative.

With Lighting & Set designed by VESTAs counterpart Doug Cairns, and VESTAs own Jon Roache the plans were quickly underway to come up with an efficient touring design, with an equipment package to suit. As the show moves daily and travelling the length of the country from Edinburgh to Truro, a well designed system was key to ensure timely Load Ins and Load Outs.

VESTAs wealth of in house Touring and Production experience came together to make several efficencies having both Audio and Lighting coming from one supplier. A fairly comprehensive networking system allows, Lighting, Control, Dante, and Video protocols to seamlessly travel together meaning there is only one FOH multi to pull in each day, keeping the locals and touring crew happy!

Video, supplied by IMAG, also plays a key part in the Production. Leading from conversations with touring Video and LED Tech Dan Barnicott, the decision to combine Lighting and Video processing/ power distribution to be housed within our lighting rack has simplified the onsite setup time.

As ever VESTAs core rental brands were called upon to deliver this project, with the Audio system including a DiGiCo S21 console, d&b Y, V and E-Series PA, Sennhesier RF, and a Lighting system including an ETC GIO console, Luminex Processing and a host of Martin Mac PXLs, Mac Auras, Mac Encore Performances, and Mac Viper Profiles.
