VESTA stomps to FLAMENKA!

Following from the success of the 2022 production, with a new re-imagined look, FLAMENKA took back to the Stage of the Peacock Theatre in London supplying Audio, Lighting, Rigging and in close collaboration with Doug Cairns Creative, the scenic build and delivery.

Drawing on the same creative team from the previous production, and with a view to build and create a more tour-able show, the 2023 production was given a fresh new set, built with us in the VESTA workshop, hand crafted by Doug and his team.

VESTA were also called upon to supplying the Lighting and in turn, the Audio hire for the Production.

Lighting Designer Doug Cairns decided re-light this years show with a view to creating a more manageable lighting system for touring, whilst incresing the amount of options and impact that could be created from it. Doug drew on VESTAs portfolio of moving lights, namely featuring our Mac Aura PXLs, Mac Encore Performances, Mac Auras, and Chauvet Q40, H12IP, and H7IP panels and pars. Show control came from VESTA in form of an ETC GIO, with show control gateways for LTC, and Luminex Luminode 12s for outputs to the rig.

Audio wise, Sound Designer Richard Brooker was also back this year and wanted to build on the system from the year previous. With a new floor, a vast array of microphones were built into and placed under the floor creating the desired sounds of the Flamenka and Tap sections of the show. This years PA had a small uplift, going for an 8 box hang of d&b Y-Series to cover the room. Around this were other YP, E-Series fills with a mixture of flown V-SUBs and B22s.

VESTA were pleased to deliver this production as a full 360 solution. We look forward to seeing what Flamenka has in store for 2024!
